DT connectors use size 16 contacts and accommodate approximately 14–20 AWG wire. They are a great choice for higher-current circuits, supporting up to 13 amps per contact when properly assembled with compatible wire and terminals.

DT and DTM connectors are different sizes and are not interchangeable. DT connectors use larger size 16 contacts, while DTM connectors use smaller size 20 contacts. Confirm the connector series, cavity count and wire size needed before ordering.
