Good quality, but a few problems during install

These are super well made and good quality, but I could have benefited from some instructions. Mainly, I got a little confused when I realized this did not come with its own rubber gasket/seal, you are supposed to cut the old one off and resuse. No issues there it just caused an extra hour of confusion and an unneeded trip to the store, so it would have been nice to have instructions for that. Secondly, the “left/right” cable did not fit properly on the shift knob connection end, so it was held in by friction only. The old one had a clip to hold it in place. My solution was to use glue so it does not come lose, so again no biggie. 4/5 seems appropriate for this product.
